Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive CPA/EA (or CPA/EA-track professional) to join its growing team. This role involves managing client relationships, preparing and reviewing tax returns, providing accounting advisory services, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. • Prepare and review tax returns with an emphasis on high-net-worth individuals and small business owners.
• Conduct tax planning and develop strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize wealth preservation.
• Manage accounting for business clients, including financial statements, reconciliations, and cash flow analysis.
• Advise clients on entity structure, succession planning, and business operations from a tax and accounting perspective.
• Research complex tax issues and stay current with evolving tax laws and regulations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Assist in mentoring and reviewing the work of junior staff/accountants.
• Support firm growth through business development initiatives and referral networking. Qualifications
• CPA/EA license or CPA/EA-eligible with progress toward licensure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-5+ years of recent public accounting experience, preferably with exposure to high-net-worth individuals and small businesses.
• Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in tax and accounting software (e.g., UltraTax, CCH, QuickBooks, Xero).
